Bubble Shooter (Pirates) Instructions
The Pirates edition of Bubble Shooter is also very popular thanks to its intuitive controls and the familiar mix of Tetris and "Four Wins". What is particularly exciting is that the freeware game is now also available as a browser game. This means that players can start playing directly in their browser without having to download or install anything! Here is a brief introduction to the controls of Bubble Shooter:
The aim of Bubble Shooter is to collect as many points as possible by popping as many balloons as possible. To do this, you have to line up at least three balloons of the same colour.
There is a directional arrow at the bottom centre which determines the direction in which the next balloon is shot. In the following text we talk about bubbles, balls, bubbles and balloons - all terms refer to the colourful bubbles in the game, so please don't get confused :).
The colour of the next balloon is shown below the direction arrow, so you have to adjust to chance.
To aim, use the mouse to point at the desired target - preferably balloons of the same colour - and press the left mouse button to shoot the balloon.
After each balloon is shot down, the next one appears immediately. The game continues until all the balloons have been popped. The faster and more effectively you burst balloons in a row, the higher the score.
Caution: If too many balloons accumulate and reach the bottom of the game window, the game is over and you have lost.
To increase the challenge, a new row is added after every six balloons shot down.
A helpful tip: The colour of the next balloon is displayed in the bottom left-hand corner, which allows for strategic planning.
Another tip: If you destroy a row of balloons and other balloons lose contact with the main group, they will also burst, earning you additional points.
PS: The game is endless, so there is no "winning" in the conventional sense. The aim is to collect as many points as possible by popping as many balloons as possible.
